What Parents Say
Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Do you offer tours for prospective families?
A: Yes, Maplelawn Childcare welcomes all interested families to come and see our facility. We offer daily in-person tours which can be easily booked by selecting Schedule a Tour on our website.
Q: Tell us a little bit about the in-person school tour?
A: We prioritize understanding the specific needs of each parent. This insight allows us to tailor our school tours to highlight the most relevant aspects of our program. During the tour, we dedicate ample time to explaining our daily routine and educational process. Parents have the opportunity to meet our experienced staff, interact with teachers, and closely examine our classrooms. By showcasing our methodology, materials, and overall classroom environment, we aim to provide parents with a comprehensive understanding of our school and how it can best support their child’s development.
Q: How will I be informed of my child’s progress?
A: Maplelawn Childcare uses a mobile application for communications, it is simple and literally acts as a text message to the teacher or vice versa to know more about the child.
We also encourage the traditional method of setting up a time to meet with the teacher before or after teaching hours. If you have concerns or just want to know about what your child is doing in the classroom, don’t hesitate to set up an appointment.
Maplelawn Childcare offers parent-teacher conference twice a year, one in January and the second at the end of the year. That would be the best time to find out all about the child’s growth and progress.
