Secure & Engaging School Age Childcare: Before & After School Enrollment

Leading After School Program

Our Before and After Care Program provides a safe, engaging, and supportive environment for children ages 3 months to 12 years outside of regular school hours. We balance relaxation with structured activities to create a smooth transition between school and home. With flexible scheduling, experienced staff, and a welcoming atmosphere, we offer a true Home away from Home. Families choose us for dependable early childhood and school-age childcare in the community.

Focus on Safety and Academic Support

We make safety our top priority. Our safe after-school care program is supervised by certified professionals, ensuring a secure and caring space. Our program includes dedicated time for homework assistance, with a quiet space and teacher guidance to help students complete assignments successfully. We also provide nutritional support, offering healthy, energizing snacks to support focus and well-being after a full school day. This combination of supervision, academic support, and nutritional care eased the burden on parents while fostering responsibility and independence in children.

Enrichment Activities and Daily Engagement

Beyond academics, our program offers enrichment activities that spark creativity and holistic growth. Children enjoy supervised activities such as STEM activities, hands-on arts and crafts, outdoor games, and sensory play. These experiences encourage exploration, build problem-solving skills, and promote teamwork through group interaction. With daily engagement at the center of our program, after-school hours become a meaningful time for fun, discovery, and learning.

The ladies of Maple lawn are wonderful, they were always nice and respectful. They took care of my son and advanced his development while in their care. When I would go to pick him up to come home, he never wanted to leave them. The first day I dropped him off there I was afraid to let him go, but as the week progressed I felt very comfortable leaving him in their care.

This is a really good facility. The staff were very professional and the facility was clean. The study material for the Pre-K was really good with science, language, music and math as part of the curriculum. A little in the expensive side but worth it.

My daughter has been attending this daycare since she was just 6 months old, and she will be turning 2 next month. From the very beginning, the teachers and staff have been amazing. They are kind, attentive, and genuinely care about the children. It gives me so much peace of mind knowing that my daughter is in such a loving and nurturing environment every day. She has grown, learned, and thrived so much during her time here. I’m truly grateful for the dedication and warmth the entire team brings, and I highly recommend this daycare to any parent looking for a safe and supportive place for their little one.

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do you offer tours for prospective families?

A: Yes, Maplelawn Childcare welcomes all interested families to come and see our facility. We offer daily in-person tours which can be easily booked by selecting Schedule a Tour on our website.

Q: Tell us a little bit about the in-person school tour?

A: We prioritize understanding the specific needs of each parent. This insight allows us to tailor our school tours to highlight the most relevant aspects of our program. During the tour, we dedicate ample time to explaining our daily routine and educational process. Parents have the opportunity to meet our experienced staff, interact with teachers, and closely examine our classrooms. By showcasing our methodology, materials, and overall classroom environment, we aim to provide parents with a comprehensive understanding of our school and how it can best support their child’s development.

Q: How will I be informed of my child’s progress?

A: Maplelawn Childcare uses a mobile application for communications, it is simple and literally acts as a text message to the teacher or vice versa to know more about the child.

We also encourage the traditional method of setting up a time to meet with the teacher before or after teaching hours. If you have concerns or just want to know about what your child is doing in the classroom, don’t hesitate to set up an appointment.

Maplelawn Childcare offers parent-teacher conference twice a year, one in January and the second at the end of the year. That would be the best time to find out all about the child’s growth and progress.
